This week, I’m writing to you from my happy place, Vero Beach. Surrounded by some of my favorite people, coffee wine in hand, and sunshine on my face. If you’ve never been, add it to your list immediately, I’ll wait.
My aunt and uncle live on what could be considered an island, it’s a little spot tucked between the Atlantic and the Indian River Lagoon. In one day you can experience sunrise, sunset, moonrise (it’s a thing) and so many dolphins, turtles, manatees, and birds just hanging out for you to enjoy. And if you’ve never seen a turtle surfacing from the ocean, crawling up the beach, and laying her eggs, you should. It’s a magical experience, in fact this whole place gives me a sense of renewed hope.
After the last month and a half of stress, nonstop to-dos, and that constant feeling of being behind… I’m finally able to breathe and think with a clear head.
And as a mom it’s a rare kind of peace. Here on this island I do not have to worry about where my kids are or what they’re doing, because they’re most likely kayaking, jet skiing or swimming with sharks, no seriously. Not that I’m not here experiencing it all with them, but I don’t have to be on all the time, not every second is planned here.
And honestly? That’s the exact same feeling you should have with your social media.
Because let’s be real: posting without a plan feels a lot like trying to parent 24/7 with no sleep, no help, and no wine. Exhausting. Chaotic. And not sustainable.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
You can’t show up well (for your kids, your business, or yourself) if everything is last-minute.
Putting together a social media strategy isn’t just about making pretty grids or checking a box.
It’s about:
– Knowing why you’re posting
– Making space to actually create meaningful content
– Giving yourself the time to get approvals or feedback without the panic
– And letting the process run smoother so you can actually step back when you need to
So if you’ve been feeling a little chaotic in your posting (cause same) there’s a better way. You need a solid strategy. And lucky for you I’ve created a free pdf that will help you create a social media strategy that actually works.
You deserve that kind of ease.
