Another Friday, Another Travel Day.
It’s just a quick trip to New York…again. At this point, I’m pretty sure the car knows the way on its own. But at least I’ll be able to enjoy Stewart’s Ice Cream, iykyk.
And while I’m thrilled to be on the go, can it please stop raining? I’m not trying to cosplay as a damp Victorian street urchin every time I leave the house.
Anyway, life is in that delightful chaos zone—also known as Maycember, where every child has a play, concert, or banquet every other night. And you’re just praying you haven’t left one of them behind somewhere.
Oh, and the girls brought home a stray dog yesterday. Because, obviously, what I needed this week was an unexpected canine side quest. (Never a dull moment)

Let’s talk about Threads.
If you missed it, Threads just hit 350 million users—up 50 million since February. That’s faster growth than Twitter saw in all of 2022.
And no, it’s not just Twitter in a new font.
Here’s why Threads is actually worth your time:
- Built-in audience via Instagram
- Less drama, more community
- Discovery > follower count
- You don’t need a Canva graphic for every thought
Now’s the time to show up before the algorithm tightens and ads take over.
TL;DR: Use Threads for reach, real engagement, and Gen Z visibility, no dancing required. Podcasters: It’s your time. Share those thoughts, drop those episodes, connect with real people.
What I’m Reading This Week
“The Creative Act: A Way of Being” by Rick Rubin
This one’s part inspiration, part therapy for anyone whose work depends on ideas showing up. I’m not saying it’ll fix your content burnout… but it might.
P.S. Got questions about getting started on Threads? Need post ideas? Want me to help you shout about your podcast without sounding salesy? You know where to find me. Probably chasing a stray dog or driving on the Taconic, again.
